Breeding Season underway

Our stud and commercial flocks are now commencing the breeding season with our Rams about to start work. This year we have foundation Ram - Shrek Red Rock 09279 (S)Castlereagh & (D)Castlereagh over our older Stud Ewes with Merribrook 101 (S)Dumisa/(D)Jilakin Downs & Merridowns 110140 (S)Brarnie/(D)Brarnie joining our 2010 Stud and Commercial Ewes ready for 1st week of August drop.

Still no rain in Victoria!!!

No rain in Victoria but the White Dorpers are showing their true heritage and characteristics - not only surviving the dry parched conditions but not losing any condition. The only supplementary feed is grass hay and any weeds in the paddock are quickly devoured by the Dorpers.
